So my teacher assigned me to write a research paper but I'm a little confused with her directions... Here they are: You will write a research paper based on Jonathan Swift’s “A Modest Proposal.” You will research the specific reasons why Swift wrote this piece ... what were the events that occurred in Ireland and England that led to these problems? Who was at the heart of the problems? Did this document have a positive or negative effect on the situation in Ireland? Does she want me to write on all the specific reasons or only choose one?
