Open Question: I am an American and I would like to go to college in Ireland?

I'm just starting my second year at a small community college in MI and I get the feeling like this school is not going to really get me anywhere. I have almost no family in the area and the nearest college is a major move anyway. My question is this, I'm wondering if there are any colleges in Ireland that are not necessarily cheap but are affordable at the same time. What I'm going for is IT so some kind technical college.
